I now have space for a working student, here on Rørmosegård .
The rest of the year is booked, but you can already book time for 2017.
Who am I:
My name is Maria D Cheung. I've ridden since I was a child and had my own horse
since my teens.
Over the years I have experimented with different branches of riding - including
modern competition dressage, show jumping and western, without quite feel rightat
In 2004 I discovered the Academic Art of Riding, and felt already after my first course,
that I had found my niche.
I've ridden with Bent Branderup since 2006, and I also get lessons of Michelle Wolf and
I have passed the following tests at Bent:
- Groundwork / Longe
I train and teach today in the Academic Art of Riding, and I am a Licensed Branderup Trainer 2016.
The internship period can last from 14 days to 3 months. However, I prefer minimum
Why choose an internship ??
An internship is ideal for those who really want to learn the Academic art of riding, One who
desires a significant development. But who might not have the option to pay for the many
lessons and courses.
On Rørmosegård, we work with the Academic art of Riding, Horsemanship, Proprio.
Freja Margry (Hesteviden.dk) comes regularly and detents the horses and offers courses.
So there really is an opportunity to gain a broad knowledge of your horse world.
As an intern, you work in the stable, and get free lessons with your own horse and lodging.
If you can’t take your own horse, you will get lessons with my horses.
As an intern you will be able to follow my training with my horses, follow others' lessons, and
participate when being held courses here on the farm.
It allows you to gain a lot of knowledge and practical experience.
When you're an intern here, you’ll live on the farm. You have your own room (if there are two
interns for a period, you’ll share the room), shower and toilet. The kitchen is shared with the
family, as well as the washing machine.
You pay your own food in the intern period.
There will be food (sugar and starch-free), hay and bedding for your horse.
If you have a second horse that you want to include in the intern period, you must pay housing
rent for the second horse.
The daily work will be Monday - Friday ( 4-8 hours a day ) , Saturday and Sunday there will be
1-2 hours of
work a day. So there is also ample opportunity for free time.
We have a tractor on the farm for the heavy lifts and runs.
In the winter season ( October to May ) , when the horses are stabled, there will be an
opportunity to earn some money for mucking and evening feeding.
If you would like to be an intern here, send me an email or write to me on Facebook.
You can also call.
You don’t need to be experienced in the Academic art of Riding, for you to be an intern here.
You just have to have an interest and a desire to learn.
